Ultra Portable Inflateable Mouse

Posted by Cameron on January 31, 2008

Also know as the Jelly Click, this is a mouse that is blown up like a balloon before you use it. it attaches via the USB port and when your done you just deflate it. Great for a laptop and I bet it could fit in your wallet for easy storage. Only thing I would be worried about it the sounds it probably makes when you deflate the thing.

“The Jelly Click takes mouse portability to the extreme. All the electronic circuity lives on a small flexible board. The body itself is just soft plastic. Whenever you need a mouse, blow up the Jelly Click, attach the USB cable and you’re good to go. As a bonus, it’s a total floaty for you swimming challenged people.”

Algorithm March

Posted by Cameron on January 25, 2008

An algorithm is shortly defined as a list of instructions that lead to a solution. When said about code such as C++ it means all the little coding steps you make to come to the final outcome.

Well during my computer software class this morning we were talking about algorithms, and my teacher whips up this youtube video! I wonder if they have that song on iTunes.

Japanese woman eats 3 Kilograms of Curry

Posted by Cameron on January 24, 2008

All I can after watching this video is WOW.

I love to eat, but even if I wanted to I could never fit all that in one sitting. I could make at least 8 or more meals out of that.

If you enjoyed this then I would suggest looking up Gal Sone .

Japanese Pranks

Posted by Cameron on January 21, 2008

In the wonderful world of Japan, things aren’t as uptight as they are here in the states. For instance, whats normal television in Japan may be rated “R” content here, or mixed baths for instance. Anyways another thing they tend to do is pull pranks on unsuspecting people and then air it on the television. Sounds fun right? That is until your flying down a mountain side naked with rocket boosters strapped to your seat. Video after the break.

Martin Luther King Jr. Day

Posted by Cameron on January 21, 2008

January 15th, 1929 marks the day that one of the greatest African Americans was born into this world, and it is on the 3rd Monday of every January that we celebrate that birth. Martin Luther King Jr. was truly an inspirational man and I hope that we are all appreciative of his sacrifices in pushing the civil-rights movement.

MLKjr“I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: “We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men are created equal.” I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slaveowners will be able to sit down together at a table of brotherhood. I have a dream that one day even the state of Mississippi, a desert state, sweltering with the heat of injustice and oppression, will be transformed into an oasis of freedom and justice. I have a dream that my four children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character. I have a dream today.”

Manzai anyone?

Posted by Cameron on January 19, 2008

Manzai is the name for the comedian duo’s that you find in Japan. There tend to be a lot in Osaka, but they’re pretty much everywhere and anywhere. Common acts include slapsticks, making weird noises, and a punch line (usually resulting in one person getting hit with the slapstick) to wrap things up. Acts can be planned ahead of time or made up on the spot which is pretty similar to American comedians, and depending on the teams popularity they usually perform anywhere from the street to the stage.

If you and your friends want to become your own Manzai team then you can go here.

Will it blend?

Posted by Cameron on January 19, 2008

Not to long ago I went to an event at the Provo, Utah mall called “First Night Provo 2008.” It wasn’t anything great, just a bunch of bratty, smelly children running around doing all these kid activities, and giving me a headache. However, one stage set up called “Will-it-Blend” did catch my eye. Now any internet guru should know what Will-it-Blend is and its mastermind Tom Dickson, but it’s just something you’ve watched over the internet, right? Well lucky old me actually got to see Tom doing what he does best, blending stuff! He had a whole bunch of different things to blend including: marbles, food, glass, and even peoples cell phones from the audience (my cousin and I think that was set up). Unfortunately I didn’t have a camera at the time to take pictures, but I’m sure you can all use your imaginations. Either way it was awesome. Now my life is complete…thanks Tom Dickson!

Welcome everyone!

Posted by Cameron on January 19, 2008

Hello people! This is my first post on this web blog. Dur! Well anyways, web blogs are a very popular thing now-a-days, and I thought what a better way to keep my family up to date on my life as I attend college. This way they can check up on me anytime they want and not have to bother with calls or waiting for me to show up on AIM. That is, of course, that I keep up with it. Well with this being my first post I thought I would share a little bit of blog-ness with you guys.

As you know, I love computers

Apple has just announced it’s new MacBook Air. Being a PC person for the moment, I don’t know much about Macs but this thing looks amazing. Too bad it costs over 3,000 for the high end model.

Click here for the article describing its specs.
